Wantonly we do question our creation
Fearing the randomness of reality

We look to forces outside, beyond mere chance
There must be order and divinity

Omniscience designing everything
A master craft smith renaissance painter

Do we not hold verity in our hands?
All life exists systematically

Must we dissipate into nothingness?
May not future hope be eternalized?

Where, if not in prospect, may one reside?
To utter darkness must we be condemned?

Not in one’s life, not in one’s breath
For truth and reckoning is intellect

Inspired by the artwork of Alann De Vuyst
